Hours of Broadcast: 24 hours a day (18 hours live, 6 hours overnight sustaining service plus relevant record materials appropriate to the station's ethos)

Character of Service: Hope FM is the broadcasting arm of Bournemouth YMCA and provides a full service including music and speech (approx 60/40 mix) with content of interest to the local community including but not exclusively for those with an interest in the Christian faith in the area of Bournemouth, Dorset.

News Bulletin Schedule: Hope FM broadcasts hourly news bulletins every day at peak times from 0700 - 2300

These bulletins provide a mix of local, national and international stories. The news is based on a feed from Independent Radio News.

Automated Programming: Hope FM broadcasts an overnight sustaining service of recorded music between the hours of 2400 and 0600 everyday. A further hour of recorded programming including speech is broadcast between 0600 and 0700 daily.

Local Programming: Hope FM produces on average 17 hours of locally produced and presented programmes both on weekdays and weekends.

Events/Charities: Hope FM seeks to work alongside local charities and other organisations in our community as well as those linked directly or indirectly with the YMCA and which reflect the ethos of the station.
