Live Local New

Hope FM is home to a variety of music shows created specifically for a "younger" audience.

Two of the most enduring music shows in the Hope FM schedule are Livewire Live and The New Music Show.

Every Wednesday at 7pm you can catch Livewire Live, presented by Tim Heywood, which guides you through all that is happening in the local music scene and features live performances from some of the biggest bands in the area. Live local music is also a regular fixture on Essence on Friday nights from 7pm with Luke Nurdin.

The New Music Show, presented by Nick Rutter, takes place on Friday nights from 9pm and is also repeated on Saturdays from 2pm. The show aims to introduce you to songs that you may not have heard before covering a wide range of genres including indie, rock, acoustic, hip hop and pop.
