Your presenter - Geneen Crossley
...started broadcasting in hospital radio, Some memorable events include:
Assisting backstage at the Royal Albert Hall . Interviewing many people from all walks of life but particularly George Bromley, Spitfire pilot, record breakers and people who have exceptional life styles, is she says a privilege.
Each interview is special for different reasons, the funniest probably being while touring Australia being invited to guest on a local radio show but shortly after arrival being asked to host the show then and there as the presenter had not turned up. Geneen did the show and was offered a permanent job but moved on!
Geneen's background is in training, a qualified lecturer in education she taught on a wide range of subjects.
She said that what got her through her mastectomy, as well as the love and support of family and friends, was the attitudes and experiences she learnt while doing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. However impossible something seems if you want it you must keep on and never give up.
Training as a Life Coach was challenging and thought provoking. She also enjoys travelling and has visited over 50 countries.
