What can you expect to hear?

We hope to continue to bring you lots of up to date information of what is happening in and around the church community both locally and globally. If there is anything happening in your church let us know about it and we can ensure lots of other people get to know as well.

A special 'wake up service' is provided for supporters at around 0745 so listen in it may be you...
Who has Sheena met this week? You would be surprised so make sure you listen in. 
Also join them for ‘church chat’ at 0830 – 0930. Then a variety of ‘cereals’ till 1000. It's all you need to start your Sunday, so join them!

Your presenters:

Derek has been a presenter for many years involved in various programmes. Sheena graduated from producer to co-host leaving the technical stuff to Derek. In radio terms, it's a good mix.

When Derek's not babysitting teenagers at school, attempting to improve their ICT skills, marking coursework, writing reports or attending meetings, he enjoys sitting and drinking coffee, he is also trying to get fit - listening to music especially James Taylor, Paul Simon etc. with a guitar nearby. Church commitments include leading worship and teaching.

With both sons now away from home, Simon married and working in a school for teenagers with severe behavioural problems and Timothy at University in London, they have more time to themselves. Amongst their friends are a group of adults with learning difficulties with whom they meet regularly.

When Sheena’s not working for Hope FM (a rare event!) her pastime is talking; to neighbours, friends and even herself! To create peace and tranquility for Derek, she enjoys reading, especially biographies, which she insists on sharing with Derek, so he gets to read as well. To write her own book has been a lifelong ambition and she is always collecting stories: hear some each Sunday, throughout the morning.
