When it comes to radio, Kevin has virtually done it all - from mid-morning presenter, to afternoons, Drive-Time and Breakfast. Past experience includes working in a range of genres from Adult Contemporary through to Urban Black on 4 different radio stations in South Africa before coming to the UK. He was also an Advertising Sales Executive for the SABC from 1992 - 1998 covering 6 different radio stations.
In 1996 Kevin set up his first Community Radio Station from scratch in his hometown of East London, close to the birthplace of the legendary Nelson Mandela.
In 1999 he wrote the first recognised training course for radio which received accreditation from the South African Qualifications Authority and he went on to lecture at university level for the next 6 years. He also established a student campus radio station and managed all aspects of the station including radio training & journalism.
Kevin came to Bournemouth in early 2006 to take up position as Station Launch Manager for Hope FM.
Three years ago he enrolled with Bournemouth University to study for a Masters in Media Management, but due to time and financial constraints this is, unfortunately, still a work in progress!
